Plein Air Classic Bicycle Race • Weekend of July 4th
The anugrual professional bicycle race consists of a series of races that will take place over a two day period in Taylor, MS. Its expected to attract hundreds of top professional riders from around the southeastern area.
On Friday night, July 3, there will be pre-race registation at the Plein Air Neighborhood in Taylor with catered food from Emileigh's Bakery. Most of the races will take place on Saturday and there is even a bike race for kids. Spectators of the event can enjoy the Taylors Farmer Market, food vendors, live music, and a moon bounce for the kids.

Guided Walking Tours of North Lamar Historic District• Every Saturday• May-July 10:30
Guided walking tours of Oxford's North Lamar Historic District will be offered every Saturday morning this spring at 10:30, departing from Skipwith Cottage, next to City Hall on the historic Oxford Square. Guides will point out architectural features, introduce some prominent people from Oxford's past, and explain why two houses have been declared National Historic Landmarks.
Sponsored by the Oxford Convention and Visitors Bureau, guided walking tours are offered as part of its heritage tourism program. Travelers are given a personal, up-close introduction to Oxford, and residents can learn a little more about local history.
